Pre-season Outlook

The Lady Lions of York will look to capitalize on last year’s Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Final Four appearance heading in to the 2010-11 season. York only returns three players from last season’s squad. PSUAC All-Conference Team member, Laura Hoffman, will once again be a significant contributor on both ends of the floor. York will also look to sophomore point guard Jennifer Fink and senior Kaitlyn Toomey for quality leadership. A familiar face will once again return to York, as Lindsay Mumma will be back for her senior season after taking a year off.

Penn State York welcomes junior transfer Hannah Kuhn and freshman Kaitie Claycomb, Jeanesis Mateo, and Olivia Kendall. Claycomb and Mateo will help in the backcourt while Kuhn and Kendall will look to sure up the frontcourt.

York opens the season with five consecutive NCAA non-conference games. York will face Wilson College, Trinity University, Valley Forge Christian College, Gallaudet University, and either Lebanon Valley or Medgar Evers. York will face Penn State Mont Alto at home for their first PSUAC game of the year.
